The Cloud Engineer role at Aramco Digital focuses on driving the sales and adoption of cloud-based products and services. This position involves providing technical expertise and pre-sales support to sales teams during customer engagements. The Cloud Engineer will articulate a compelling value proposition for innovative cloud solutions, helping to develop and implement product marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads and enhancing customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge and Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of cloud products and services to drive sales and revenue growth. Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position offerings.
- Product Marketing: Develop a clear and compelling value proposition for cloud solutions, define the target market, identify key differentiators, and monitor market trends and customer needs.
- Marketing Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including creating materials, managing digital channels, and measuring campaign effectiveness.
- Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, assist in solution design, conduct product demonstrations, and manage proof-of-concept activities.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business requirements, challenges, and goals. Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service.
- Solution Design and Proposal Development: Work with customers and internal teams to design cloud solutions tailored to specific requirements and craft proposals that effectively communicate product value.
- Technical Consultation and Support: Provide ongoing technical consultation and support to customers, addressing questions and challenges related to cloud solution implementation.
- Sales Enablement and Training: Collaborate to develop sales enablement strategies and conduct training sessions to enhance the sales team's technical knowledge.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers and partners, and work with cross-functional teams to gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales activities and customer interactions to identify trends, proactively driving sales through effective product marketing strategies.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably in the cloud technology industry.
- 3 to 5 years of experience leading a team focused on consultative selling, relationship-building, and effective negotiation skills.
