The Enterprise Solutions Director is responsible for supporting the design of the overall IT strategy and for managing the IT portfolio. The role will oversee the development, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-wide business applications and solutions to meet organizational needs. The role will play a lead in identifying business requirements, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. This role will lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement in business processes. The role will lead in managing application lifecycles, ensuring data integrity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency, enabling digital transformation, and maximizing business value through effective application & enterprise solution management.
Responsibilities
- IT Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap for enterprise solutions, aligning with business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for IT innovation and continuous improvement.
- IT Portfolio Management: Define portfolio themes, objectives, and investment criteria to guide the selection and prioritization of IT services, projects, and initiatives. Establish criteria and methodologies for prioritizing and selecting IT services, projects, and initiatives for inclusion in the portfolio. Define KPIs to analyze the performance and health of the IT portfolio through regular monitoring and reporting.
- IT Architecture: Define and oversee the maintenance of the organization’s IT architecture framework, standards, and guidelines for enterprise solutions. Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and security of applications.
- Application Design & Build: Lead the design of the overall architecture, structure, and design principles for business applications based on functional requirements, technical constraints, and industry best practices.
- Application Test, Release & Deployment: Oversee the development of comprehensive test plans and strategies for business applications. Guide the definition of testing objectives, scope, resources, and schedules.
- Application Performance Monitoring: Drive the process of evaluation and selection of appropriate performance monitoring tools and solutions that align with the needs and objectives of the organization.
- DevSecOps Performance and Analytics: Lead the integration of automated security testing tools and practices into the DevOps pipeline.
- Business Solutions: Ensure that IT strategies and initiatives are directly aligned with the business's strategic goals, thereby supporting overall business growth, efficiency, and competitiveness.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in building & overseeing the build of different applications across domains with 4-5 years of experience in establishing IT architecture and leading an enterprise solution and business application roadmap implementation while overseeing application development and support resources across multiple technical domains.
