About the Job
Avrioc Technologies is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for building resilient, high-availability cloud architectures and will be responsible for managing multi-account cloud environments. Your expertise will play a vital role in automating and standardizing the governance of cloud resources and implementing best practices to enhance cloud architecture across multiple accounts.
Responsibilities & Authorities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Act as a SME for designing resilient, high-availability cloud architectures that span multiple regions and clouds.
- Manage multi-account cloud environments including account creation and governance across AWS Organizations, Azure Management Groups, or Google Cloud Resource Hierarchies.
- Use tools like AWS Control Tower, Azure Blueprints, or Google Cloud Resource Manager for account setup and governance.
- Design and implement cloud landing zones that provide secure, scalable, and compliant foundations for workloads in multi-account environments.
- Automate and enforce organizational policies and compliance requirements across multiple accounts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and policy-as-code tools.
- Conduct Well-Architected Reviews and implement best practices.
- Manage and optimize cloud costs across different accounts.
- Configure and manage cloud networking principles including VPCs and subnets.
- Design and implement hybrid cloud network architectures.
- Implement cost-saving measures like rightsizing and auto-scaling within a multi-account architecture.
- Utilize security tools to enforce policies across multiple accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or a STEM discipline with majors in Mathematics.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a cloud engineering role with deep knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Relevant cloud certifications showing extensive knowledge in cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of the Well-Architected Framework focusing on operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and configuration management tools.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like bash, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
