Position

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineering - Co-op Trainee to participate in an immersive two-month program that provides an overview and training on engineering aspects and other functions within the company. The Cooperative Training role involves working under the supervision and guidance of vertical leaders, with a focus on learning various systems and procedures, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects.

The trainee will contribute to the New Murabba Project, an infrastructure initiative in Riyadh, which emphasizes sustainability and includes a variety of residential and commercial facilities designed to enhance community living and well-being.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team leads and supervisors on daily activities.
  • Assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports and utilize databases.
  • Shadow professionals and learn on the job.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops.
  • Conduct research and analysis as required.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to ongoing projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Final-stage students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 out of 4 or 4 out of 5.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in stressful environments.
  • Ability to work well in teams and manage time effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with basic principles and practices of electrical engineering.
