About the job:

Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of IT initiatives. Management of departmental metrics including financial budgets and the team performance metrics and Key performance indicators (KPI’s). Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, and timely delivery within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, global counterparts, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions and effective stakeholder management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization and leveraging technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other industry-specific regulations, by implementing and maintaining appropriate IT controls. Champion data security and privacy practices, implementing cybersecurity measures and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations, protecting sensitive data and intellectual property. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the IT strategy, aligning IT initiatives with the organization's goals, and contributing to the overall success of the company

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 9+ years of experience in Information Technology or a related field in multinational companies with medium/large organizations
  • Experience supporting a production environment with a high degree of complexity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software technologies. This can include laptops, desktop, servers, firewalls, wireless access points, switches.
  • Experience in supporting Infrastructure and application technologies used within large corporate environments such as virtualization technologies, backup & recovery technologies, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI), Networking, Windows Server & client Operating systems and Active Directory Administration, InTune.
  • Experience in project management within a global regulated environment, including change control and validation processes, requiring coordination with Teams in multiple geographical locations and across different functional departments.
  • Strong communication skills, Fluent in the English & Arabic languages (oral & written).
  • Ability to build strong, effective partnerships with regional business leaders, other IT teams, support service vendors and suppliers and able to influence complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Additionally:

  • Previous industry related experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, RPA and data analytics.
