Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a qualified IT Support Specialist who will be responsible for installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining PC hardware and Microsoft operating systems. The role includes providing phone, email, and hands-on support to associates, maintaining records of incidents and requests in ticketing systems, and troubleshooting issues related to computer systems, network, printers, telephony, and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain PC hardware and software.
  • Provide support via phone, email, and in-person as needed at various sites.
  • Maintain incident and request records in ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot incidents with hardware, software, messaging, network, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure support teams and external contractors for server and network hardware deployments.
  • Maintain asset inventory of computers and communication lines.
  • Provide support for O365 platform services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power BI.
  • Participate in local, regional, and global projects, occasionally leading them.
  • Act as a liaison between local business representatives and the IT organization, translating business needs into IT project offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of corporate and site-specific IT policies and standards.
  • Manage local backup processes for server data.
  • Assist in formulating IT budgets and coordinating procurement of hardware.
  • Oversee vendor and contract management.
  • Create reports of local IT activities and projects to present to leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in onsite IT support within an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with server and networking is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.
