Solutions Architect Application and Network Security

About the Job:

As a Solutions Architect specializing in Application and Network Security at Broadcom, you will provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to the sales function to assist in driving the sales effort. Your role will involve:

• Assisting the field organization to meet or exceed sales quotas, participating actively in the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure, and owning the deal’s technical closure.
• Analyzing customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions, contributing to sales account planning, and performing customer demos.
• Acting as the customer’s voice to influence future product designs that meet their needs.

You will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively, leading technical engagements to drive opportunities to closure. This may involve assessing customer environments, delivering technical workshops and proof of concepts, and establishing long-term solution roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute plans to enable field teams and channel partners to sell VMware solutions.
• Collaborate with VMware Engineering and Product management to prioritize customer feature requests.
• Drive successful customer adoption of VMware Networking and Advanced Security Solutions.
• Lead design and delivery of new products and processes, ensuring innovative solutions to complex problems.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; or a Master’s degree and 6+ years; or a PhD and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior team members.

Language Requirements:

This position demands a high level of expertise and the ability to network with key contacts outside your area of specialization, influencing significant projects and business initiatives. You will have the freedom to determine work priorities based on management direction and your assessments.
