About the Job: Help global companies embrace the latest private cloud infrastructure, Linux, and cloud-native operations, and open-source applications. The team provides expert insights to real-world customer issues, enabling enterprise adoption of Linux Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and associated technologies. This role involves diverse responsibilities as team members act as Linux and cloud solutions architects for customers, designing both private and public cloud solutions to fit workload needs. They are hands-on cloud consultants who deploy, test, and hand over solutions to support and managed services teams. Additionally, they use Python to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open-source infrastructure-as-code. The ideal candidates are developers who enjoy solving customer problems through architecture, presentations, and training. What Your Day Will Look Like: - Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications. - Design and deliver open-source code using Python. - Architect cloud infrastructure solutions, including OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark, in both on-premises and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Coach and develop colleagues by sharing insights. - Foster a collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values. - Work remotely from home with global travel up to 25% for internal and external events. Requirements: - University degree in Computer Science or related field. - Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph). - Practical knowledge of Linux and networking. - Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills. - Dynamic personality with a passion for new projects and customer interaction. - Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning. - Excellent communication and presentation skills (English). - Strong organizational skills and reliability in commitments. - (Optional) Proficiency in a second language: French, German, Italian, Arabic, or Spanish.
