About the Job:
Help global companies embrace the latest private cloud infrastructure, Linux and cloud-native operations, and open-source applications. Our team applies expert insights to real-world customer problems, enabling enterprise adoption of Linux Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and a wide range of associated technology.

This role has diverse responsibilities, including being a Linux and cloud solutions architect, designing private and public cloud solutions that fit customer workload needs. Team members work hands-on with technologies, deploying, testing, and handing over solutions to our support or managed services teams at the end of projects. Additionally, they use Python to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open source infrastructure-as-code.

Ideal candidates are developers who enjoy solving customer problems through architecture, presentations, and training.

Your Day Will Involve:

  • Working across the entire Linux stack, from kernel and networking to storage and applications.
  • Designing and delivering open-source code in Python.
  • Architecting cloud infrastructure solutions such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark, either on-premises or in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Coaching and developing colleagues.
  • Growing a healthy, collaborative engineering culture.
  • Remote work with potential global travel of up to 25% for internal and external events.

What We're Looking For:

  • A university degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc.).
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Python programming skills.
  • A dynamic personality who thrives on new projects and enjoys interacting with people.
  • A demonstrated drive for continual learning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-up on commitments.
  • (Optional) Proficiency in a second language.
