We are hiring a Business Systems Engineer with NetSuite experience, who is committed to engineering quality and process efficiency. This role presents an exciting chance to work with multiple business systems and enhance Canonical's operations. The Business Systems team is responsible for systems like NetSuite and Salesforce, and collaborates closely with other engineering and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews.
- Learn Canonical business processes.
- Mentor and offer career development feedback based on seniority.
- Promote great engineering and organizational practices.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Result-oriented with a strong personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in performance engineering and security.
- Familiarity with accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles.
Work Conditions:
- This role is fully remote within the EMEA region.
- The company maintains a distributed work environment, with in-person team sprints occurring twice a year.
