Salesforce Engineer, Commercial Systems

As a Salesforce Engineer in the Commercial Systems unit, you will contribute to the engineering solutions in Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring high-quality engineering practices and efficient processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business processes, maintain system compliance, and provide exceptional support to Canonical’s operations. The role requires a genuine interest in understanding business needs and the drive to enhance user experiences.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Remote, EMEA region)
Work Conditions: Full-time, remote with the possibility of international travel (twice a year, up to two weeks long).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering solutions in Salesforce and other business systems.
• Collaborate on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews.
• Learn and apply Canonical's business processes.
• Mentor junior team members and provide career development feedback.
• Promote effective engineering and organizational practices.

What We Are Looking For:

• Exceptional academic record with an undergraduate degree in a technical subject.
• Proven experience working with Salesforce.
• Professional written and spoken English, with excellent presentation skills.
• A results-oriented mindset and personal drive to meet commitments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in performance engineering and security.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other CRM/ERP systems.
• Background in accounting, sales, or related business roles.
