We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to next-generation operations at scale, utilizing pure Python for infrastructure-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. Our aim is to perfect enterprise infrastructure DevOps through high-quality automation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Bring Python software-engineering skills to the operations domain while practicing DevSecOps.
- Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.
- Ensure operational excellence for applications running on our infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Linux, including Linux networking and storage.
- Proficiency in Python software development.
- Operational experience in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
Work Conditions:
- The role requires the ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events, lasting up to two weeks.
