As a Software Architect, you will be instrumental in the architecture, design, and evolution of LXD, which is a modern Golang system container and virtual machine orchestrator, as well as Canonical MicroCloud. You will lead a team in creating a reliable and easy-to-use cloud infrastructure and ensure the product remains secure and performance-optimized.

Work Conditions:

  • Global travel to company events twice a year is required.

Requirements:

  • Professional written and spoken English.
  • Strong experience in Golang and C, along with knowledge of cloud infrastructure and related APIs.
  • A background in concurrent, distributed systems, storage, networking, and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with container technologies.

  • Competitive compensation with annual reviews and performance-driven bonuses.
  • A personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
  • Distributed work environment with in-person team sprints.
