We are seeking a Software Architect for Canonical LXD and MicroCloud. The mission is to enable clusters of compute, utilizing system containers or virtual machines, to operate seamlessly. This role involves tackling complex challenges in distributed systems, virtualization, container technology, networking, and storage. As a software architect, you will spearhead the architecture, design, and evolution of LXD, and Canonical MicroCloud, a combination of LXD with Ceph and OVN to create a streamlined, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in Golang and C, alongside the leadership skills necessary to motivate a team toward delivering exceptional products.
