  • Engage in the engineering process through code and architectural reviews.
  • Collaborate with Canonical teams, the open source community, and partners.
  • Work from home with global travel for 4 to 6 weeks per year for internal and external events.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Understanding of modern Linux cloud computing technologies, including networking, storage, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability in developing and growing people.
  • Strong focus on delivering timely, high-quality software.
  • A Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar degree.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Experience programming in C and/or Go.

Work Conditions:

  • This is a fully remote position available in EMEA and the Americas.
  • Global travel required for 4 to 6 weeks per year.

Benefits: Canonical offers a competitive compensation package that reflects geographical location, experience, and performance. Additional benefits include:

  • Distributed work environment with biannual team sprints in person.
  • Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
  • Annual compensation reviews.
