About the Job
Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East, aiming to simplify and improve the lives of people. The Senior Operations Lead - Logistics will play a crucial role in enhancing Customer experience for Captains (drivers) by understanding their needs, behaviors, and motivations. This position involves working across various functions to drive actions that ensure optimal fleet quality and daily operations.

What You'll Do

  • Clearly understand the fleet needs, behaviors, and motivations to improve Customer experience on the platform
  • Drive preemptive Customer experience improvement actions via product, policy, and on-ground operations to ensure optimal fleet quality
  • Ensure an optimal experience across all verticals on a daily basis and solve operational issues in real time
  • Analyze insights from analytics data and provide analyses, reports, and dashboards for operations initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance platform experience and identify growth opportunities
  • Facilitate product rollouts: drive adoption and govern the go-to-market process
  • Listen attentively to customers and Captains, providing meaningful insights for experience improvement
  • Actively contribute to a data-driven environment, using best practices and data visibility for continuous process improvements

What You'll Need

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a complex operational environment with tight deadlines
  • Confident, outgoing, with a predisposition to learn and teach
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Understanding of operations with the ability to analyze large data sets for actionable insights
  • Experience in a similar role and industry is highly desirable
  • Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with PowerPoint
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Fast learner
