What You'll Do

  • Foster strong relationships with global and regional payment providers, Fintechs & FIs to simplify payments for Careem users across MENAP region
  • Ensure best-in-class, methodical partner and deal management rooted through robust project management, OKRs and alignment on opportunities of mutual interest, facilitating seamless execution and communication
  • Develop partnerships and product strategies based on industry knowledge, aligning with Careem Pay's mission and strategic objectives
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (including product, engineering, finance, risk, compliance, and marketing) to build integrations, products, support deals, and drive process enhancements
  • Exhibit an operationally focused mindset, develop and manage end-to-end project plans for new implementations, working closely with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery
  • Define and establish SLAs and performance standards for partners, track commitments, and improve partner health metrics
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions to address them
  • Assist in incident resolution and manage escalations from internal teams ensuring resolution with partners

What You'll Need

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in technical project/program management and/or business operations within digital payments
  • Track record of managing external relationships with exceptional people skills and ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Deep knowledge of the payments landscape, with the critical thinking skills to comprehend and interpret emerging trends
  • Demonstrated success in leading medium-to-large scale technical projects with external partners and internal teams
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
