Position

CENSUS seeks talented and ambitious professionals to grow our Product Security Professional Services team. As a Senior Embedded Systems Security Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Embedded Systems Security to provide high-quality cybersecurity services to our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting design reviews and implementation assessments of embedded system products.
  • Executing threat modeling, attack surface enumeration, and attack tree creation.
  • Researching and proposing technologies that align with client requirements and strategies.
  • Performing end-to-end security posture assessments through various methodologies.
  • Verifying compliance of product implementations with security architecture and threat models.
  • Documenting and presenting product security risks in both technical and business contexts.
  • Supporting a small team of security engineers and consultants in assessing new technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded or computer system-level software security.
  • Proven track record in developing, auditing, or testing security solutions for embedded, IoT, or mobile systems.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Embedded Systems, Linux, or Real-Time Operating Systems security.
  • Familiarity with ARM architecture and software debugging techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Assembly (ARM).
  • Knowledge of firmware integrity, secure boot, and hardware-backed attestation technologies.
  • Understanding of cryptographic best practices and system vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with hardware-backed security features and international collaboration.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
