Technical Project Manager - Application Security

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to define requirements and scope, planning technical activities such as consulting, assessments, and audits.
• Break down high-level tasks and product descriptions into specific technical activities assigned to security engineering teams.
• Lead the technical team for the duration of the project engagement.
• Document and communicate product security risks effectively to both technical and business audiences.
• Ensure the quality of technical deliverables through rigorous technical quality assurance.
• Build and maintain relationships with client teams and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement of the project team's technical deliverables.
• Ensure client satisfaction and report key learnings to the business development team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in an application security role (e.g., engineering, development, assessment, consultancy).
• 2+ years of technical project management experience related to product or information security.

Key Skills & Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security concepts and protocols for various application types (cloud, web, mobile, IoT).
• Proficient in reviewing application security architectures.
• Familiar with mobile (iOS, Android), cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure), or web platforms.
• Ability to read and analyze source code, identifying security flaws in languages such as Swift, Java, Ruby, Python, and JavaScript.
• Understand application authentication and management methods (OAuth, SSO, etc.).
• Familiar with security features backed by secure hardware.
• Experience with application security assessments and S-SDLC processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving skills, and a desire for continuous learning.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
