About the Job
The Architect - Cloud & Infrastructure role is critical within the Injazat Professional Services department. This position entails the design and implementation of cloud and infrastructure solutions tailored for Injazat clients. As an Architect in this domain, you will be tasked with developing and executing cloud-based solutions, including the design and deployment of infrastructure components. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud designs for Injazat clients.

A strong grasp of cloud computing technologies and infrastructure components, such as virtualization, networking, storage, and security, is essential for this role. Familiarity with leading cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure (must have), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customers' applications portfolio, IT and business priorities, and success metrics to engineer implementation architectures and solutions, utilizing both Microsoft and third-party solutions.
  • Architect technical solutions that address business and IT needs, ensuring the technical viability of new projects and leading large cloud migration initiatives.
  • Design solutions for enterprise clients with a focus on cloud-native and third-party components for networking, security, storage, backup, and identity management.
  • Utilize DevOps methodologies to automate infrastructure deployments, including Infrastructure as Code (i.e., Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Create High-Level and Low-Level Technical Design Documents, outlining inter-dependencies at various design and deployment stages.
  • Deploy and implement Cloud solutions based on developed architectural designs, ensuring compliance with technical delivery documentation frameworks.
  • Lead technical workshops with clients, peers, and third-party vendors, guiding implementation teams on technical approaches during project deployment.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitive insights, sharing knowledge within the technical community.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the IT industry and services.
  • 10+ years in technical delivery, implementation, or consulting roles.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect/Implementation Engineer or similar roles, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Active Directory, Exchange, and necessary cloud architecture design principles.
  • Proficient in cloud migration strategies and tools, and familiar with containerization technologies like Kubernetes (K8S), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and AWS EKS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code implementation, particularly with Terraform and ARM.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, among other relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate are highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities to collaborate across teams.
  • Expertise in cloud networking and security governance, with knowledge in hybrid connectivity solutions.
