About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect - Artificial Intelligence to join our product management team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and running evaluations of language models and compute architectures. You will analyze, design, and recommend solutions that optimize the performance and scalability of supported language models. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to ensure that our solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation of language models and compute architectures to assess performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Design and implement benchmarking processes to compare different models and architectures.
- Analyze data from evaluations and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
- Develop architecture designs that meet business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provide recommendations on the selection and optimization of language models and compute infrastructures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the implementation of recommended solutions.
- Work closely with product managers to align architecture solutions with product roadmaps.
- Liaise with data scientists to understand the requirements and constraints of language models.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain documentation for architecture designs, evaluation processes, and findings.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, outlining the results of evaluations and recommended actions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with the latest advancements in language models and compute architectures.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and propose new approaches to improve existing processes.
- Continuously refine and enhance evaluation methodologies to keep pace with evolving technologies.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in the evaluation and optimization of language models and compute architectures.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and AI technologies.
- Experience in product management or a related role, with a focus on technology solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their associated architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and high-performance computing environments.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
