About the Job
The Senior Specialist will be responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of IT projects according to strict deadlines, while ensuring adherence to scope and budget. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and aligning project deliverables with business objectives. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with senior team members to gain experience and progressively take on greater responsibilities.
Responsibilities

Project Activities:
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, providing progress reports to stakeholders.

Team Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Facilitate communication between IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Support resource allocation to meet project demands.

Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary.
- Assist in implementing mitigation strategies and addressing issues impacting timelines or quality.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate project records.
- Ensure all project documentation is regularly updated.

Support Budget and Financial Tracking:
- Track project expenses, ensuring delivery within budget constraints.
- Provide regular updates on project financials to senior managers.

Quality Assurance:
- Help ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
- Assist in conducting post-project evaluations and implementing improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in project management or IT-related roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planview, Jira, Trello).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes is a plus.
- Certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
Skills
