Senior Systems Architect - Storage Solutions

The Senior Systems Architect – Storage Solutions leads design and supports implementation of storage and data backup solutions ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and support implementation of PBs-level block, object and file storage solutions as integral components of Cloud and HPC environments ensuring stability, performance and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering, providing technical guidance, and ensuring alignment of strategy with business objectives.
• Define roadmap for all storage solutions and services across the organization’s products portfolio.
• Support regular capacity planning exercises to anticipate and accommodate the growing demands on the storage infrastructure.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of storage solutions architecture and configurations, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge of backup systems, disaster recovery principles, and data protection strategies.
• Deep understanding of cloud native Backup solution for OpenStack.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
