Position

About
Core42 CFC helps defend its clients from cyber-attacks through timely detection, investigation, and remediation of potential threats. The Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) team works closely with client leadership and CFC teams to ensure a comprehensive and proactive cyber defense across corporate and business operations. EIM manages day-to-day high-severity incidents involving third parties or joint ventures and is responsible for compliance and regulatory requirements, including ISO27001 and SOC2, while ensuring adherence to internal governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration with CFC clients and the broader security community to enhance partnerships.
  • Provide cybersecurity remediation recommendations to clients and actively oversee third-party remediation efforts.
  • Deliver reports and briefings to management on the overall CFC program and ongoing security incidents.
  • Direct a team in executing Enterprise Incident Management using knowledge management and case management solutions.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity policy formulation and recommend consequences for policy violators.
  • Act as a cybersecurity advisor during incidents for corporate or business components outside the CFC.
  • Engage in developing, documenting, and implementing new processes to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Ensure the minimization of threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's business systems and applications.
  • Provide management briefings on ongoing security incidents and identify opportunities for workflow automation.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of security experience and 5+ years of IT experience preferred.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related experience including Senior Level IR Analyst, IR Shift Manager, or IR Management.
  • Advanced understanding of information security, incident handling & response, endpoint protection & encryption.
  • Strong ability to communicate, write clearly, and speak authoritatively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to perform in-depth analysis of past incidents.
  • Project management skills and experience.
