About
We are looking for a highly innovative, people-focused, and empathetic Vice President - Talent Development & Learning and Culture, to oversee the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive, new age learning and development programs for all employees. You will lead our organization's efforts in enhancing employee learning, development, talent management, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent while promoting a culture of continuous learning and engagement. The role will be reporting to the CHRO and will be based in our Corporate Office, Abu Dhabi.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's greater goals.
- Design and deliver innovative training programs that enhance employee skills in AI, data science, cloud computing, and other critical areas.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans to address them.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting knowledge sharing, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs using data-driven insights and metrics.
- Drive improvements in terms of new employee experience and manager capabilities.
- Develop programs for manager capabilities and executive leadership development.
- Develop Talent Management strategy to develop key talent.
- Responsible for Talent Assessment Development, Performance Management, Promotion Process, and Executive Succession Planning.
- Implement performance management processes that align with business objectives and promote employee growth and development.
- Lead Core42 Culture & Values program, nurturing a positive and inclusive organizational culture that reflects the company’s values and supports employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field in Tech or Consulting Companies.
- 17+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or related HR functions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning & development programs and talent management strategies in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong understanding of organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing and developing diverse teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on driving business impact through effective talent management and culture initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and resolve complex organizational challenges.
- High level of integrity and commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace environment.
