About the Job: The Data and Information Architect is tasked with defining and owning the information architecture and data models for the organization. This role includes analyzing and addressing business needs, ensuring that data structures and systems are optimized for analytics. The individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop robust data models, and implement best practices in data management. They will also ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the role involves continuous evaluation and enhancement of data systems to support strategic business objectives and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data and information models optimized for BI and advanced analytics at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
- Design robust information architecture integrating diverse sources to enable self-service.
- Assess and address D360’s data requirements for effective data solution implementation.
- Establish and enforce information architecture policies and best practices, ensuring data integrity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee data migration, data integration, and data transformation projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Responsible for the efficient design and implementation of master and reference data management within the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure scalability and performance optimization of data architecture to meet growing business needs.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of data architecture to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to implement robust data security measures and mitigate data breaches.
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security (EIS) policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance within departmental/unit activities and operations.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Qualifications: A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 8 - 10 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-optimized information architecture and data models (conceptual, logical, and physical). Data Vault modelling experience with at least one successful implementation.
- As an individual contributor, the candidate should be the subject matter expert for a capability area or key process in their organization and would typically be the lead person.
- Demonstrated ability to link technical contributions back to business impact for their team or area.
Technical Competencies:
