About the Job:
The UI/UX Designer is responsible for gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. The role involves creating both functional and appealing features that address D360 customers’ needs and turning the software into an easy-to-use product for clients. The designer will collaborate closely with the products and UX team to deliver user-centric solutions, following a design thinking methodology in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and analyze findings to provide insights on user behaviors and needs.
- Follow a design thinking approach from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and testing.
- Run usability tests to identify user pain points and enhance user experience.
- Deliver coherent and delightful UX concepts with plans for iterative updates.
- Translate wireframes into meaningful UI while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with copywriters to ensure effective communication within the layout.
- Maintain a state-of-the-art design system for an integrated and consistent look.
- Document and hand off design files to developers, performing quality control post-implementation.
- Mentor junior UX designers by providing guidance and feedback.
- Comply with information security policies and practices within departmental activities.
Qualifications:
- A tertiary-level qualification in Graphic/Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related program.
- Fresh graduate with up to 3 years of experience in UI & UX design for web and mobile.
- A rich portfolio showcasing multiple projects with direct contributions.
- At least 1 case study demonstrating the design process.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Understanding and application of UX laws and design principles.
- Strong English communication skills to effectively present and communicate design work.
Preferred Experience:
- Fintech experience is a plus.
