Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration: Set up the Oracle Database software and configure instances.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement backup strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager) or other tools, ensuring data restoration in case of failure.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization and resource allocation.
• Security Management: Manage user accounts and roles, implementing security measures to protect data.
• Database Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and monitoring database health.
• Data Migration: Handle data migration projects, including data imports and exports.
• Scripting and Automation: Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager or SQL scripts to monitor database health and troubleshoot issues.
• Capacity Planning: Assess future storage and performance needs based on usage trends.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SQL
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database
