Technical Capabilities
Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into custom end-to-end architecture based on client needs. Led a minimum of 2 technical implementations of data platforms. Hands-on proven knowledge on preparing data engineering pipelines using at least one of the tools and platforms such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, T-SQL, Python, Spark, or any other cloud hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI). Hands-on experience with SQL databases is a must. Hands-on experience with Hadoop, MapR, or NoSQL databases will be a plus. Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining physical data models for data warehouses (dimensional models) or operational databases (relational models). Hands-on experience in designing and implementing real-time/event-based data engineering pipelines is a plus.
Functional Capabilities

Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key processes within a business function. Selects appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data and develops informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy. Maintains composure through conflict and sensitive situations, escalating issues to engagement/account leadership when appropriate. Organizes insights and defines a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Science Major. 6-10 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience designing and implementing data engineering pipelines, ETL frameworks, physical data models (dimensional and relational), data pipeline orchestration, and other data engineering related activities as per technical capabilities. Good command of written and spoken English. Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment and flexible work hours. Willingness to travel across the GCC region (50-75% of the time).
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Big Four or Global System Integrators is a plus. Arabic language is a plus. Professional Certification in any of the above-mentioned tools or platforms will be a plus.
