As the Senior Security Architect at Deriv, you will be pivotal in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets within Dubai's vibrant security ecosystem. Your Challenges and Mission

• Be the Guardian of Our Digital Assets: Protect Deriv's assets and clients' trust by staying vigilant, anticipating potential threats, and ensuring system resilience.
• Lead the Charge in DevSecOps: Collaborate across teams to foster a "security-first" mindset, integrating security naturally into product development.
• Champion CI/CD Security: Implement security measures within CI/CD pipelines to seamlessly integrate security into development workflows.
• Ensure Our Systems Are Rock Solid: Conduct comprehensive security reviews of all new and updated systems, platforms, and applications to maintain high protection standards.
• Safeguard Our Financial Ecosystem: Secure and ensure the integrity of our payment systems to protect financial transactions and build a robust security framework.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain informed about emerging threats and technologies, ensuring Deriv's security measures are effective and current.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information security, focusing on cloud security, security architecture & design, and DevSecOps.
• Proven success in designing secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native applications.
• Deep understanding of security best practices across various layers.
• Expertise in securing payment systems and compliance within the financial industry.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong coding and security process automation skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
