Senior Security Architect - Cloud & DevSecOps Specialist

Your challenges and mission include:

• Being the guardian of our digital assets by protecting Deriv’s assets and our clients’ trust.
• Leading the charge in DevSecOps and collaborating with teams to champion a “security-first” mindset.
• Implementing security measures within our CI/CD pipelines to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into our development workflow.
• Maintaining the highest standards of protection by conducting comprehensive security reviews of all systems, platforms, and applications.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of our payment systems to protect clients’ financial transactions and building a robust security framework.
• Staying informed about emerging threats and technologies to ensure Deriv’s security measures are always up-to-date and effective.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in information security, with a focus on cloud security, security architecture & design, and DevSecOps.
• Proven success in designing secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native applications.
• Deep understanding of security best practices across various layers and expertise in securing payment systems and financial industry compliance.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong coding and security process automation skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
