As a Senior Security Specialist at Deriv, based in our bustling office in Dubai’s Business Bay, you will be at the heart of our global operations, contributing to cutting-edge cybersecurity initiatives alongside a diverse and talented team. Your role is pivotal in protecting Deriv’s digital assets while navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will lead vulnerability management, penetration testing, and advanced red teaming initiatives, spearheading efforts to discover, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities within our systems. By simulating real-world cyber battles through penetration tests and red team operations, you will enhance our security posture and fortify our defenses.
Your responsibilities include evaluating the resilience of our security controls, ensuring they meet the highest standards against sophisticated threats. Additionally, you will actively manage and engage in our bug bounty programs to identify and report vulnerabilities, working collaboratively with the security community to improve our defenses continuously.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, emphasizing red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and security control testing.
- Mastery of penetration testing methodologies and red teaming techniques.
- Experience with bug bounty programs.
- Holding certifications such as OSCE, OSCP, SANS, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent is highly desirable; experience discovering CVEs or 0Days is a plus.
- Extensive experience with security tools and frameworks, with bonus points for experience in DevSecOps.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex security issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
