The primary responsibility of the Security Solutions Architect is to consult with clients and collaborate with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for complex solutions that address the clients’ needs. The role involves providing multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work within different industry sectors and timelines to evaluate, define, and recommend solutions, services, and outcomes in line with cybersecurity domains.
- Leverage knowledge of security standards, laws, regulations, frameworks, and good practices to support security outcomes.
- Identify and develop security requirements, both functional and non-functional.
- Manage demos and proof of concept, and define solution specifications for network and infrastructure security.
- Support complex bid responses, partnership models, solution and service strategies, including detailed pricing models.
- Maintain vendor relationships to understand their products, business, and technology positioning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Serve as the primary contact for the sales team regarding new requirements or questions in cybersecurity.
- Work independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Drive security architecture conversations with clients related to cybersecurity operations and incident response services.
- Maintain a broad understanding of security solutions, services, and technologies, along with applied knowledge of 'Secure by Design' and 'Zero Trust' principles.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant, recognized professional Security and Security Technology certifications are essential.
Required Experience:
- Over 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, with at least 4 years in technical solutions and presales within the KSA Market.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, comfortable presenting technical topics to small to medium audiences.
- Well-established connections with cybersecurity vendors in the security operations domain.
- Working technical knowledge of security technologies (e.g., SIEM, MDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, SOAR).
- Experience in preparing technical architecture blueprints and responding to large scale complex RFPs is highly desirable.
- Broad understanding of security trends, threat landscapes, and frameworks such as the cyber kill-chain; familiarity with security architecture design principles, cloud security projects, and concepts is preferred.
