About the Job
As a ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, particularly focusing on the Enterprise Service Catalogue. Your role will involve developing technical architecture and frameworks to support the enterprise-wide deployment of ServiceNow Platform Management. You will oversee the health, stability, and performance of the ServiceNow platform while ensuring best practices are followed for configuration, customization, and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Design Solutions: Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions specifically for the Enterprise Service Catalogue.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems and platforms.
- Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams while staying updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, while also maintaining documentation related to the architecture, design, and implementation of the ServiceNow platform.
- Problem Solving and Support: Address and resolve technical challenges related to the ServiceNow platform, including support for upgrades, patching, and new releases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in ServiceNow platform architecture and administration, with proven experience in the ServiceNow Enterprise Service Catalogue module. Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) is essential.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and certifications
Technical Skills
- Proficient in ServiceNow platform functionalities, including workflow configuration, scripting, UI policies, data policies, client scripts, business rules, and ACLs.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS).
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs.
