Manager IT Application Development - Emirati Talent

The Manager of IT Application Development will be responsible for developing and implementing business applications across EDGE Corporate and its entities. This role involves managing the delivery of applications and enhancements, including overseeing project deliverables, quality, resource management, and timelines from design to go live. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Digital Transformation team to define requirements and design application blueprints, oversee the development of applications interfacing with EDGE systems, and identify opportunities for improvement in the applications landscape.

Other responsibilities include recommending cost-effective software development projects, liaising with Product/Solution Management for quality implementation, and assisting in change management to promote adoption of application platforms. The role also requires maintaining knowledge of KPI requirements and providing input towards budget preparation and training needs for direct reports.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years in Business Application Development, with experience in the UAE or Middle East preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Key Skills: Expertise in Business Application design and implementation, and proficiency in English.
