We are looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in Computer Vision and Analytics to join our initiative, Advanced Concepts, where you will contribute to enabling a secure future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cutting-edge visual object tracking and image processing algorithms for unmanned systems running on embedded hardware.
  • Implement and optimize tracking techniques, including correlation filters, deep learning-based trackers, and feature-based methods.
  • Integrate visual tracking algorithms into real-time systems for unmanned platforms, ensuring low-latency and high-performance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams for optimized tracking solutions on onboard processing units.
  • Develop sensor fusion strategies to enhance tracking accuracy and reliability using various sensors (e.g., cameras, lidar).
  • Enhance visual trackers to perform reliably under dynamic conditions (e.g., changes in lighting, weather, terrain).
  • Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to enable adaptive tracking solutions.
  • Benchmark visual tracking algorithms, comparing performance metrics for suitability in specific unmanned applications.
  • Optimize tracking algorithms for resource-constrained environments.
  • Engage in continuous research to apply state-of-the-art tracking methodologies.
  • Document tracking algorithms and integration processes thoroughly.
  • Execute testing protocols to validate the reliability and accuracy of visual tracking algorithms.
  • Contribute to technical reports and project documentation.
  • Mentor and train junior technical personnel.

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming.
  • Experience with machine learning and tracking algorithms.
  • Skilled in CUDA programming and familiar with NVIDIA platforms.
  • Strong version control and code maintenance skills.
  • Awareness of recent updates in research within the field of computer vision and analytics.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
