Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to select and procure lab equipment and necessary supplies.
• Support the engineering team in prototyping and testing developed systems.
• Efficiently manage, update, and maintain an inventory of commonly used parts, components, and consumables for ongoing projects and daily electrical prototyping.
• Provide technical expertise to support research and development activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment acquisition and service requirements.
• Facilitate training for engineers and technicians in the proper usage of lab equipment and adherence to established procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive lab policies and procedures to prioritize safety and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of prototypes to ensure operational and performance standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Operate electrical engineering and laboratory equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team involved in test equipment design and development.
• Utilize experience to design innovative and efficient test systems, incorporating the latest technologies.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring project parameters are adhered to.
• Identify opportunities for improving test equipment performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Knowledge/Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in a development-engineering environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Software Engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
• Experience in Test Equipment Design and Development, ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC standards for military and defense applications.
• Proficient in LabVIEW, TestStand, C, C++ coding, HIL, and Python.
• Knowledge of sensors and instrumentation.
