As an Agile Delivery Manager - Group Services, you will play a critical role in leading teams to create technology solutions that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating scrum teams to achieve high performance and quality in delivering outputs that provide exceptional value to end-users and customers.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and review.
- Champion the blending of traditional project management principles with Agile development approaches.
- Build a trusting and safe environment for team members, emphasizing healing and problem-solving.
- Drive Quality and ensure adherence to the Definition of Done (DOD).
- Maintain and manage agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ScrumDesk).
- Assist in team development and hold teams accountable for their commitments.
- Attend regular stand-ups and scrum meetings to monitor progress and address issues.
- Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and product backlog transparency.
- Implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Certification: Certified SAFe and PMI ACP (additional certifications such as PMI, Prince 2, CSM desirable).
- 5+ years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
- 8+ years of working experience in Information Technology, particularly in agile delivery within large technology change programmes.
- Experience with vendor management and driving Request for Tenders (RFT).
- Proficient in software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, JIRA, Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders.
