As the Manager IT Product Delivery for Web & Mobile, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle supporting strategic roadmap creation, seamless, high-quality execution of key initiatives such as app modernization, emirates.com modernization, payment methods, and booking options. You will oversee the development and delivery of robust software solutions that align with the airline's strategic goals and ensure exceptional customer experiences through these vital B2C digital channels.
In this role, you will lead a team of 10 direct reports, including Delivery Managers, Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Architects, and software engineers, ensuring that all engineering efforts follow best practices in software development, security, and scalability. You will also drive a strong focus on quality engineering, establishing standards for testing, performance monitoring, and continuous integration, to ensure reliability and efficiency across all digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of all products in the portfolio from concept to launch and beyond
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Lead technical product, delivery, and solution architecture resources to effectively define features, design, and implement solutions
- Accountable for the end-to-end product and solution delivery to the business
- Manage product portfolio according to cross-functional products, delivery, quality, financial, and service metrics
- Support the long-term investment strategy for the portfolio and manage relationships with relevant business units
- Develop, plan, and manage the IT budget, including forecasting financial requirements
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure optimal resource allocation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic IT external partners
- Contribute to the improvement of practices and associated skill sets for all chapters involved in product delivery
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in an IT related discipline
- 10+ years in Information Technology
- Extensive knowledge of Product Management and/or Project and Programme Management practices
- Proven experience of technology product delivery at scale across multiple businesses
- Evidence of leadership roles managing large-scale projects and programmes or an IT delivery function
- Strong stakeholder management skills
