Join our DevOps and Automation team as a key technologist, driving DevOps and automation practices at both the product and program levels. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing our DevOps strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our technology landscape. Your expertise will help us streamline operations, reduce time-to-market, and continuously improve our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery phase of Cloud adoption/migration by partnering with the Architects and Security to strategize well-defined DevOps and Cloud engineering architectures.
- Lead the automation of change management, building resiliency, monitoring, capacity planning, and emergency response for assigned products.
- Act as a lead for service reliability, scalability, and performance as part of system enablement for Agile release trains.
- Review deployment and operational environments to execute initiatives for failure reduction and troubleshooting across the infrastructure stack.
- Collaborate with Release Engineering, Product Development, and Security teams to develop change management strategies.
- Enable automation of everything possible and maintain a healthy continuous deployment pipeline.
- Embrace DevSecOps principles to advise and architect security solutions.
- Apply Site Reliability principles to ensure availability, performance, and capacity planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Extensive experience in hybrid cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Hands-on expertise in Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Go, Python, and Ruby.
- Expertise in Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL, ServiceNow, and Agile frameworks.
