The Engineering Technical Services (ETS) department ensures optimal performance for one of the world's most advanced aircraft fleets. We focus on fleet technical management, airworthiness, and technical support to uphold safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and passenger comfort. Job Purpose
The Technical Services Coordinator will provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management, and technical support functions for the Emirates fleet to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, reliability, passenger comfort, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Assist Technical Services Engineers with fleet technical management activities, continuing airworthiness management, and technical support functions for assigned sections, i.e., Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant, and Cabin Interior.
- Update internal engineering documents including Engineering Orders and Special Engineering Workcards in support of modifications and inspections.
- Support Technical Services Engineers with the review of in-service data (e.g., Tech log, Pilot Reports, Defects) and implement actions to improve fleet, engine, component and/or system reliability and maintainability, including optimization of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Receive technical documents from Tech Pubs and assign them to relevant focal points within the department after reviewing their applicability.
- Support Technical Services Engineers with processing technical workflows.
- Assist Technical Services Engineers for project functions related to major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations, and aircraft phase-out requirements.
- Carry out technical research to deliver technical assistance and operational support in disruption scenarios, including the handling of technical/AOG, troubleshooting, aircraft chronic and deferred defects, and technical delays.
- Support department IT initiatives and collaboratively develop concepts and methods to improve efficiency within group functions.
- Support department administrative functions (including KPI reports) for the Manager Fleet Technical.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent.
- 4+ years of related Aircraft Engineering experience (Engineering, Projects).
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of the latest technical developments and industry trends on respective systems.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize technical information for implementation in cost-effective ways.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex tasks and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
