Product Engineer - Raster & Imagery

We are seeking a Product Engineer with expertise in remote sensing to develop innovative workflows and solutions utilizing imagery data. The ideal candidate will harness their creativity and technical skills to design and implement imagery workflows that will drive insights through Esri technology. Key components of the role include spatial analysis, data visualization, and strong communication skills to assist our customers in utilizing best practices for working with imagery.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage domain expertise to develop effective solutions.
• Build, test, QA, and implement data conversion workflows.
• Research and apply cutting-edge methods and technologies in remote sensing.
• Understand, create, and explain new products stemming from raster analysis.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in remote sensing and GIS.
• Familiarity with image services, mosaic datasets, and geoprocessing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations and cross-organizational interactions.
• Knowledge of remote sensing science and algorithms for extracting information from imagery.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Master's degree in remote sensing, GIS, or a related field.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Experience in image processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with big data and cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure).
• Proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languages.
• Proven capability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions.
