About the Job
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with extensive experience (10+ years) in cloud platform administration, particularly with AWS and Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices, troubleshooting issues, and managing various cloud services such as RDS and security tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cloud Platform Management: Advanced administration and implementation of best practices across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Container Orchestration: Managing Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, including logging and monitoring.
- Infrastructure as Code: Utilizing Terraform and Ansible for automating cloud resources and managing multi-cloud environments.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Supporting development workflows with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, along with version control.
- Scripting & Programming: Developing scripts in Python, Shell, etc., for automation of reporting and metrics collection.
- Networking & Infrastructure: Proficient in Linux administration and understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancing, Gateway, DNS), identity management (AD, SSO), and storage solutions.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implementing log aggregation and monitoring solutions using ELK stack and Prometheus for observability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to security best practices, utilizing tools like SIEM, GuardDuty, Inspector, and Config.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong skill set, including but not limited to:
- Amazon EC2
- Cloud Infrastructure
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Kubernetes
- Automation tools such as Terraform
- Proficiency in Python and other programming languages
- Troubleshooting and version control skills
