About the Job:

The GCP Data Engineer position at Expleo Group involves the following responsibilities:

  • Proficient in writing code, primarily in Python, with knowledge of Scala or Java as a plus.
  • Skilled in writing and understanding complex database queries, particularly for BigQuery (GCP's data warehouse).
  • Capable of extracting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
  • Knowledgeable in structuring data within the data lake and related systems.
  • Responsible for establishing processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP Data Lake Tools, including:
    • Cloud Storage (GCS)
    • BigQuery
    • Cloud Dataflow
    • Cloud Dataproc
    • Pub/Sub
    • Cloud Functions & Cloud Run
    • DataPlex
    • Looker
  • Competent in moving and working with data, including both batch and stream processing, and familiar with various data formats and workflow tools.
