Expleo Group is seeking a Solution Architect with domain expertise and experience in designing solutions involving various payments, core, and card systems within financial institutions in the UAE region.
Responsibilities:
- Understand various requirements regarding payments and cards systems.
- Design and provide detailed solution designs that meet stipulated non-functional requirements.
- Create technical solutions for specific business problems and requirements in line with the company's business strategy and Enterprise Architecture roadmap.
- Present tactical and strategic architectural options and solutions to senior management.
- Manage and review applications, data, and technology components from an enterprise architecture perspective.
- Maintain technology options that adequately support the bank's required software systems.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation of the bank's systems architecture and system interactions.
- Consider scalability, disaster recovery, and system performance in all aspects of the systems architecture.
- Facilitate effective integration of all systems within the bank, especially as new systems are selected and implemented.
- Define the technology roadmap and govern the technology portfolio from an Enterprise/Digital Application Architecture perspective.
- Provide solutions aligned with Agile and DevOps-oriented project delivery.

Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of Payments, Card Issuing & Acquiring message and transaction flows, with experience in integrating in-house applications with third-party Fintechs.
- Domain knowledge of Card Issuing & Acquiring systems, including gateways, ATMs, and Switch.
- Understanding of ISO8583, MT, and MX messages.
- Working knowledge of defining API specifications for REST or Web Services.
- Familiarity with API & Interface governance, design standards, and principles.
- Experience in transforming user journeys and user experiences with the latest technologies.
- Knowledge in Cloud Deployments and technology partner evaluations, including defining KPIs.
- Ability to manage the lifecycle of solutions, undertake technology watch, and develop proofs of concept for Payments & Cards systems across both on-premise and cloud-based components (especially AWS).
- Good to have working knowledge in application development/integration, preferably with Java, Spring framework (Boot, MVC, JPA), Angular, React Native, React web, TIBCO, WebSphere, etc.

- AWS, Azure, and professional certification are added advantages.
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud, DevOps, and Agile development methodologies.
- Awareness of security standards, data confidentiality, PII information, and best practices in application architecture.
Experience with:
Cards and payment processing systems, Acquiring & Issuing Processes, ATMs, ISO8583, SWIFT, and UAE-specific payments.
