Inside Systems Engineer - Oil & Gas

We are looking for an Inside Systems Engineer (ISE) to collaborate effectively with the SE and Sales team in a defined territory. The ISE's primary mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Sales Calls: Act as the main technical resource during sales calls, educating customers on issues ranging from features, specifications, functionality to integration.
• Provide assistance and training to identified customers during the post-sales phase.

Required Skills:

• Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus solutions.
• Knowledge of protocols like RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Excellent telephone manner with strong spoken and written English skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
