About the Job
We are seeking a fresh graduate to join the Fortinet Systems Engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will work closely with a sales representative and support the sales organization in all technical matters throughout pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities.
As a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all technical aspects of the sales cycle with enterprise customers, encompassing initial RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs when required. You will also participate in project management and POCs in collaboration with relevant internal teams and customers.
  • Listening to and understanding customers' technical requirements, allowing you to develop superior solutions that outshine competitor offerings.
  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in alignment with your sales partner.
  • Actively enhancing your knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, as well as maintaining a comprehensive understanding of competitive offerings to ensure long-lasting protection against evolving threats.
  • Effectively positioning Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person, utilizing strong communication skills to present through whiteboarding, technical white papers, and discussions.
  • Managing time efficiently while working on multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer and prospect technical information within our CRM (Salesforce).

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • A high aptitude for security technology, particularly in areas like encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
  • Experience in a pre-sales engineer role, overseeing end-to-end technical aspects of deals to technical closure.
  • Proven problem-solving skills that have led to significant wins in past roles.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with customers, including the ability to communicate technical details effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
