As a Data Analyst at G42, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive informed business decisions. Reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, you will work closely with various teams to deliver insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis. This role is technical and focuses on analyzing data to extract meaningful insights and support business operations. Your responsibilities will include data manipulation, visualization, and reporting to inform decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Inception, where this role is positioned, is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Focus areas include AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process data from various internal and external sources.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain data integrity and perform quality checks to ensure data reliability.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
- Create data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Develop interactive dashboards to enable stakeholders to explore data and insights.
- Continuously improve data analysis processes and methodologies.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
