To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a Senior Network and Security Engineer.

Job Purpose: Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and high availability of Network infrastructure including Network Security across all Geidea regions to provide maximum performance and meet the defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Operate and maintain Geidea's network security infrastructure in KSA, UAE, India, and Egypt, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of CISCO Routers, switches, and Firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto), F5, and any new technology assigned.
  • Configure and maintain all PCI rules for network and security devices within Geidea's PCI Scope.
  • Provide and solve L3 level support and resolve complex networking problems.
  • Ensure the security equipment is installed at precise network locations and maintain timely backup configurations.
  • Prepare and update documentation related to NOC, LAN, WAN, and NSP Network infrastructure including HLD and LLD Diagrams.
  • Investigate and resolve network issues using troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all cases using the company’s ticket management tool and close within agreed timeframes.
  • Facilitate best practices within the network team for new configurations or activities.
  • Support new networking projects and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ensure tickets’ SLAs and KPIs are achieved and adhere to escalation procedures and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records related to Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, and Knowledge Management.
  • Adhere to Geidea’s information security practices and policies, reporting any security disturbances.
  • Review and apply best practices related to PCI-DSS and other Security frameworks.

Required Technical/Professional Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
  • CCIE certification is a plus.
  • Vendor-specific certifications like F5, Palo Alto, FortiGate are a must.
  • Fin-tech background is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge in documentation and PCI-DSS background is a plus.
  • Knowledge of F5, firewalls, and router switches.
