Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to engineers, ensuring high standards of development and implementation.
- Capabilities Management: Oversee and enhance departmental capabilities, including modeling and simulation, guidance & control algorithms, tracking systems, estimation and optimization filters, software development (SIL and PIL), lab testing and performance verification (HIL Test), and mission planning and flight testing.
- Mentorship: Cultivate talent by mentoring engineers at all levels and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Flight Testing: Lead pre-flight preparations, conduct flight tests, and perform thorough post-flight analyses to ensure optimal performance.
- Future Exploration: Investigate and implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive the advancement of our capabilities and processes.
- Infrastructure Development: Establish and enhance tools, labs, and systems that support guidance and control capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10-15 years in guided weapon systems or relevant fields, with a proven track record in engineering leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Systems, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of guidance and control systems, with a strong background in system engineering.
